In northern NSW koala populations are in decline. At the same time, both state and federal Liberal governments seek to water down laws that protect native animals and their habitats. I spent yesterday out with forest activists & our Labor candidate for Cowper Andrew Woodward checking out koala habitat near Bellingen, and discussing their campaign for a Great Koala Park. Don’t sit this one out. Koalas are too precious to lose.
