PETITION: Women's economic lives matter!

COVID-19 has impacted us all but the pandemic has disproportionately affected Australian women.

Women have been on the frontline of our nation’s fight against COVID-19 - in the workplace and at home.

For many women, working life before COVID-19 was harder than it should be. The pandemic has only made things worse.

But the Government has refused to factor women into their coronavirus recovery plan.

The Government must urgently develop a genuine plan to ensure Australian women don’t fall further behind in the aftermath of the COVID-19 crisis.

This plan must include addressing job losses in industries dominated by women, closing the gender pay gap, and addressing Australian women’s shrinking super balances.
