- $5 million Emergency Fodder Support Package established for eligible primary producers in western Queensland.
- Available to farmers in the LGAs of Barcoo, Boulia, Bulloo, Diamantina, Longreach, Murweh, Paroo, Quilpie, and Winton.
- Jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
Western Queensland primary producers inundated by current flooding now have access to a $5 million Emergency Fodder Support Package.
The Australian and Queensland Governments are activating this support for eligible farmers in the local government areas of Barcoo, Boulia, Bulloo, Diamantina, Longreach, Murweh, Paroo, Quilpie, and Winton.
Fodder can be used to sustain livestock and mitigate the impacts of flooding and loss of pasture in areas impacted by the floods.
This emergency package is funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the joint Commonwealth-state Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
