Senator Penny Wong and I met with representatives from three Queensland family violence services to hear how any loss of funding will impact the women they support. I had a detailed conversation with Stacey Ross who leads Centre for Women, an organisation that supports women and children facing violence.

I joined Lisa Chesters and Rob Mitchell to learn more about the work of Cobaw Community Health.

Graham Perrett and I met with the hard-working people that drive the Sherwood Neighbourhood Centre.

Jim Chalmers, Des Hardman, and I met with workers at YFS in Logan.

Patrick Deegan and I met with community workers providing support to the Northern Rivers region. Areas like the Northern Rivers have suffered the most under Nationals cuts, and the work that these workers do is vital to keeping communities afloat.

Susan Templeman and I met with support workers providing frontline community services to Winmalee.

I joined Elida Faith, Labor candidate for Leichhardt, to meet with frontline youth support workers.
